The Opérateur de Compétences des Entreprises de Proximité (OPCO EP) is committed to supporting companies, employees, and apprentices in developing professional skills that meet the evolving needs of the labor market. Our mission is to ensure that businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), have the tools and resources to strengthen their workforce, adapt to economic change, and remain competitive.

We achieve this by:

  • Guiding companies in identifying skill needs and building effective training plans.

  • Providing financial and technical resources to facilitate access to professional training.

  • Promoting apprenticeships and work-based learning to prepare new generations for the workforce.

  • Encouraging continuous learning as a key driver of career development, employability, and sector growth.

Through these actions, OPCO EP contributes to sustainable employment and long-term economic resilience.

Our Vision

We envision a professional landscape where every company, regardless of size, and every employee, regardless of background, can access training opportunities that drive progress and innovation.

In our vision:

  • Employees benefit from lifelong learning, enhancing their employability and professional fulfillment.

  • Companies strengthen their competitiveness by developing a workforce equipped with relevant, future-oriented skills.

  • Sectors are supported in addressing collective skill challenges and anticipating future needs.

  • Society gains from stronger employment, professional inclusion, and sustainable economic growth.

By fostering a culture of skills development, OPCO EP plays a key role in building a more adaptive, inclusive, and competitive economy.

Our Values

Our work is guided by values that shape both our mission and our partnerships:

  1. Accessibility – Making training and apprenticeships available to all, regardless of company size or employee background.

  2. Innovation – Encouraging new methods, technologies, and approaches to professional development.

  3. Responsibility – Supporting sustainable employment and helping businesses adapt to social and economic change.

  4. Solidarity – Strengthening smaller enterprises and sectors by pooling resources and expertise.

  5. Excellence – Promoting high-quality training programs that deliver real, measurable outcomes.

  6. Partnership – Collaborating with companies, training providers, social partners, and public institutions to build a coherent skills ecosystem.

These values ensure that OPCO EP remains a trusted and effective partner for companies, employees, and apprentices.

What We Do

OPCO EP provides a comprehensive range of services designed to bridge the gap between training needs and economic realities.

  • Apprenticeship Support
We promote and fund apprenticeships, ensuring young people gain practical experience while acquiring recognized qualifications. By connecting companies with training providers, we help businesses find the talent they need and prepare apprentices for long-term career success.

  • Training Plan Guidance
We assist companies in analyzing their needs, designing training strategies, and implementing professional development plans that align with their goals and sector priorities.

  • Financial Support
We manage funding to ensure that companies and employees have access to professional training, easing the financial burden for small and medium-sized enterprises.

  • Technical Expertise
We provide advice and technical resources on training regulations, program design, and sectoral skill requirements.

  • Sector Development
We work with professional branches to identify collective skill priorities, anticipate future needs, and design training solutions that support entire industries.

  • Continuous Learning Promotion
We encourage lifelong learning to ensure employees remain agile, adaptable, and resilient in a changing job market.

Through these activities, OPCO EP ensures that professional development is not just a necessity, but a strategic advantage for companies and employees alike.
